One Year Since Legal Crime has been published!

Hi all!

Can you believe that today it's been ONE YEAR since 'Legal Crime' was published? One whole year… and what a year it's been!

If you asked me when I was seven (and just starting to write what would become my debut novel) what I think would happen in the next seven years, I could never have imagined it would be this. Since 2021, I've met so many people (definitely some I'm never going to forget, if you're reading this, you all know who you are!)  and discovered so many new things about this world.

Writing has always been an integral part of my life and publishing was not something I intended to happen, at first anyway. Becoming the youngest YA author in the UK is definitely something I'll keep close to my heart, but none of it would be worth it without all of you!

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you - those who have supported me throughout this past year as a young author finding her way in the publishing world - for giving me feedback, sending me positive messages, reading my work, spreading the word and encouraging others to start writing!

'Legal Crime' will always be very special to me as my first published novel, but I hope for more to come out soon in the future! As you all know, I'm currently working on a YA dystopian fantasy! I'll be sharing more updates about that soon!

My book has also been nominated for a book award, something I never thought possible when I was a little girl writing for fun. You can vote for it and write a comment of support here if you haven't already: https://peoplesbookprize.com/summer-2021/legal-crime/

I still can't quite believe that it's been a year since I've been an author (I'm pinching myself hard!) but thank you, thank you, thank you!
